Eco-art for you. Profits for the planet. Feed your spirit and nourish the earth with these Compost Compositions; Hire me to inspire your group with entertaining stories or invite me to document the places, possessions and people you love most. Whatever path you choose, always imagine what's possible.

For me, it's all about the joy found in recomposing our shared narrative, one image at a time.

My current work focuses on compost. The images are colorful, have texture and change every day - - not just in the pile, but when I look at them. One day, I might see a banana peal and another I might see a metaphor for life. Who knew a pile of garbage could be so compelling?

Compost is cool. It keeps waste from landfills and nourishes gardens. It has taught me that if I show up every day, have patience and allow for life's messiness, life is better.

Join me in this ongoing exploration. My kids think I'm crazy, but I think it's fun. With compost, it's earth day every day.

Welcome to my work. I bring a diverse background to my photography practice.  A Harvard University graduate with an MBA and an MAT, I am happiest when turning biodegradable waste into compost, unused lawn into more diverse ecosystems, and people afraid of gardening into caregivers for their land.

For the past decade, I have been trying to figure out what it takes for a suburban family of four to live within the planet's means. I left my work in education and media to be at home with my kids, to co-chair the Sustainable Hanover Committee, and to see if I could find some answers to that question. In the process I wrote, created a variety of short-lived blogs, and, along the way, took a lot of photographs with my ever-present camera. I currently share my reflections on climate action in my blog, By Degrees. Check it out!

Photography has been a constant in my life. Finally, in my 50's, I committed to "go public" and share my work as well as create new work with clients. Thank you for your interest.
