A Day in the Life of a Grasshopper August 2021, Hanover, NH If not for my cool 'new' lens (AF-S Micro Nikkor 105mm), I might not have noticed this creature exploring a sunflower in our front yard. I loved the angular leaves of the flower and the angles of this grasshopper's really long legs. Who knew my absorption with colors and angles would completely distracted me from what was actually happening? This stunning creature must have felt safe here, because he hung out all day and into the night. I stayed
home a lot this summer and witnessed one micro-drama after another. It continues to be true - - If you plant them, they will come. 10/6/2022 09:28:44 am
