Let's Reframe: By Degrees

Compost Conversations

Who knew compost could contain so many lessons about life?
The Power of Us:
Finding Joy and New Ways of Being - Together
Structure: 20 - 30 minute 'Ted-Talk' type presentation.

Message: Compost as metaphor to celebrate the power of us. With climate change, the absence of national leadership, and increasing social and economic dislocation, how can any one of us feel that what we do matters? In this talk, I use images and stories to reveal that everything we do matters because in Democracies every one of us can make a difference, especially when we work together.

Audience: Anyone and everyone.

Creativity & Climate Action - - A Convergence
Discovering Personal Power in a Complex World

Structure: 30 - 60 minute 'keynote' conversation.

Message: Compost as metaphor for the story of a mid-life awakening. One woman's exploration of what it means to find her voice in a world threatened by seemingly insurmountable challenges. How can a person possibly find joy when there is such sorrow? How can any one of us spend time reflecting, when there is so much work to do?

Audience: Anyone needing permission to re-frame their narrative, especially people caught in the web of social and economic privilege.

Logistics
Why "Compost Conversation"? Compost, because that is my muse and metaphor. Conversation, because I assume that after either of these experiences, I will mix and mingle with those present, answering questions and sharing a laugh.
